Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Short version: no cookies, no ads, no accounts. We count visits anonymously so we know which safety pages help, and that's all.

Visit counts, no cookies

We count page visits with PostHog, set so nothing is stored on your device: no cookies, no profile, nothing that follows you around the internet. It tells us which pages people read and which fixes they book, so we can make the useful parts better. There is no Google Analytics and no Facebook pixel.

No data collection

No personal data is collected, stored, or sold. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. When you make a booking on Fix my home, we keep your postcode, best time and fix list (no name, no phone) to see which fixes families need most. Your booking itself goes to the fitter you choose on Airtasker or hipages, under their privacy policy.

Hosting infrastructure

This site is static HTML served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, as the hosting provider, may collect basic access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) as part of their standard infrastructure. We do not access, review, or store these logs. For details on Cloudflare's data handling, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

PDF downloads

If you download a PDF or infographic from this site, the generation happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. The file is created locally on your device using JavaScript.

External links

This site links to external sources (AIHW, ABS, Kidsafe, etc.) for data verification. Once you follow those links, their privacy policies apply, not ours. We have no control over their tracking practices.

Future changes

If we ever add features that collect data — which we don't plan to — this policy will be updated before those features go live. The "last updated" date at the top will change. We won't sneak anything in.
